NAVWC fans from across the pond!
The NAVWC has gone international! Sören Becker from Germany found our site on the interwebs and requested some club stickers to sport on his Beetle. How could we say no to him? Check out his email and pictures below. He even has a vintage Alabama tag! Welcome to the club Sören!

i attached some pics of the STickers with my license plate, and also one picture of my Bug. ok, i need to say that this is an old picture. Next year he will drive on other wheels and with an old roofrack.

Bug’n in July 2011 Donation to Crisis Services
The NAVWC made it’s annual donation to Crisis Services last month. Thanks to the generous contributions of those that attended our 12th annual Bug’n in July car show, we were able to donate $1,300 to our sponsored charity, Crisis Services of North Alabama. This wouldn’t have been possible without our sponsors, and those who participated in our show (especially the engine blow!).
Thanks to everyone who came out or supported us in some way. We hope to see y’all again next year!
Hiley VW Show-n-Shine – 6/18/11
Don’t forget about our Show-n-Shine being held at Hiley VW this Saturday. Details can be found on the Events page.
Hiley VW is a sponsor of Bug’n in July, and to help promote our show they’ve been kind enough to invite our club out to their dealership for a show-n-shine. They’re going to clear off some their cars in the front lot and let us park some of cars out there to generate interest for Bug’n in July.

NABMS EuroBrit Car Show
Make to sure join us Saturday morning, June 4th, as the NAVWC once again fights to “take the hill” at the 2011 North Alabama British Motoring Society’s Eurobrit Auto & Bike Expo! It’s open to all British and European makes, regardless of condition. Drivers and works-in-progress are strongly encouraged to attend. There will be 25 classes, a Mayor’s Award, 50-50 drawing, Best of Show, Door Prizes, a President’s Award, and more! Event T-Shirts will be given to the first 100 entrants, so get there early and look for the German section… that’s where we’ll be!
Cost for cars is $20 for one or $30 for two or more; motorcycles are $10 for one or $15 for two or more.
Registration will be from 8AM-1PM, and awards will be given at 3PM
Dublin Park is located in Madison, just off Old Madison Pike, halfway between Hughes Road and Shelton Road. See ya there!
